Welcome to the home of policing at Glastonbury Festival. In the months before each festival we keep you updated with news about the police operation as well as cramming the site full of safety tips to ensure you have a fun and safe time.
Crime remains low at Glastonbury Festival. In 2011 crime was down slightly on the previous year with 99.7% enjoying a crime-free festival. Avon and Somerset Police put a large police operation in place each year to help keep people safe and we work closely with the festival organisers and other agencies. If you go to the festival you'll find police patrolling on foot, on bikes and on horseback, handing out crime prevention goodies and chatting to people about the festival and staying safe.
In 2012 there will be a year off for everyone involved (including us!) but don't forget to check back here again in 2013 to find out about our plans for the next Glastonbury Festival.
